As of December 10, 2003, we have found 14 confirmed cases of CWD positive deer from the 2003 hunting season. These positives cases represent a total of 3709 samples that have been tested to date. We are estimating that are about 1000 samples that have yet to be tested. Below is detailed information on the CWD positive deer:

2. 2 year old mule deer buck taken in Sheridan County, approximately 9 miles east of Alliance, NE

3. 3 year old mule deer buck taken in Sheridan County, approximately 10 miles east and 1.5 miles south of Alliance, NE

4. 2 year old white-tailed buck taken in Morrill County, approximately 6 miles east of Bridgeport, NE (along North Platte River)

5. Adult mule deer buck taken in Morrill County, approximately 7 miles north and 2 miles east of Bayard, NE

6. Fawn mule deer buck taken in Sioux County, approximately 9 miles east and 7.5 miles north of Harrison, NE

7. Adult mule deer buck taken in Sioux County, approximately 10 miles east and 3 miles north of Harrison, NE

8. Adult white-tailed buck taken in Sioux County, approximately 8 miles north and 2 miles west of Harrison, NE

9. 2 year old white-tailed buck taken in Sioux County, approximately 9 miles north and 6 miles east of Harrison, NE

10. Adult mule deer buck taken in Kimball County, approximately 15 miles south of Bushnell, NE
